Engagements

Sarah Louise Tomasino & Warren Lee Duke

John and Deanna Duke, of Friona, and Sherman and Sally Tomasino, of Branchville, New Jersey, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, Warren Lee Duke and Sarah Louise Tomasino. The wedding will be on June 21, 2008 in Branchville, New Jersey.

The future groom is a 1992 graduate of Friona High School. Warren has been serving in the United States Army since June 1992. He has been stationed in Ft. Carson, Colorado, Germany, Bosnia, Ft. Hood, Texas, Korea, and Iraq, and is currently serving as a U.S. Army Recruiter in Farmington, New Mexico. Warren is a Sergeant First Class with 16 years of service. Warren’s grandparents are Cecelia Duke and the late Robert Duke of Friona, and Leo Wipperfurth and the late Esther Wipperfurth of Arizona.

The bride-elect graduated from High Point Regional High School in 1999; Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Ecology and Psychology; and Western New Mexico University (Gallup Graduate Studies Program) in 2007 with a Master’s in Special Education. Sarah is currently employed as a Special Education teacher at Apache Elementary School in Farmington, New Mexico.
