Hold on to your love handles, March 14th is Pi day. Do you know the difference between pi and pie? Apparently, pi r squared and pies be round. Do the math. If you cut a pie in thirds and then eat 3 pieces, how many pieces are left for your friends. If you have no friends, your are in great shape except for the fact that you just ate three pieces of pie.

National Pi Day recognizes the mathematical constant π. Also known as pi, the first three and most recognized digits are 3.14. Consequently, after eating 3.14 pies you are twice the person you used to be using the formula URsquared.

Pi is the ratio between the circumference of a circle and its diameter. Pie is the ratio of the pan diameter and the circumference of your waistline. Mathematicians such as Archimedes, Fibonacci, François Viéte, Adriaan van Roomen, and Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz all calculated pi by various methods.

Betty Crocker calculated pie by using numerous ingredients. My granddad said he only liked two kinds of pie. Hot pie and cold pie.

Don't worry if all this pi/pie talk has you worn out. Monday is National Napping Day. Try the California King.
