What's in a name!

Congratulations to Tonya Lookingbill on winning the contest to name the new senior apartments. We are proud to announce Legacy Pointe Senior Apartments will be opening this fall. Stay tuned.

Calling any volunteers!!

Prairie Acres is excited about every resident getting a new bed. They are in and we need your help. Saturday, September 18th we are having a "Build a Bed" party starting at 9am. We will serve hotdogs around 11:30am. We have roughly 35 beds to put together. This work will require a little lifting. So, if you have a little time and a set of sockets, bring them and come join in providing a new bed to our residents.

Mark your calendars

Saturday, October 2nd will be the first annual Classic Car and Craft Fair at Prairie Acres. If you are crafty and would like to set up a booth and sell your crafts come join us or if you are a car buff and would like to bring or just come look at some great classic automobiles you are welcome. The booth space will be 12 x 12 for $20 (no electricity, sorry). Entering a car in the show is $20 with a top prize to be awarded for People's choice. More details to come, but feel free to contact Elizabeth Romero to reserve your space or commit your car, 806-250-3922. This event will begin at 9:30 a.m. with set-up beginning at 7:30 a.m. here at Prairie Acres.

Prairie Acres Administrator Jeff Procter and Housing Manager Cindy Hooley present Tonya Lookingbill (center) a $150 gift card for submitting the winning entry in the "Name those new apartments" contest.
