It's Pink-Out Time!!!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the FHS volleyball teams show their support by wearing pink warm-up shirts before their matches. The varsity team is featured here on the front page and the JV and C teams are featured on the back page. You can find an application for assistance from the Parmer County Cancer Coalition by going to our forms page.

It's Pink-Out Time continued — The C Team (above) and JV Team (below) volleyball players proudly display their "Pink-Out" warm-up shirts. FHS would like to honor Breast Cancer Survivors and Fighters during the next pep rally. Please email Ms. Roque at mroque@frionaisd.com if you would like to participate. The pep rally will begin at 2:35 p.m. in the FHS Gym on Friday, October 14th.

Town Talk

Line of Duty — Dalhart and surrounding area communities came together on Monday to honor the life and legacy of two fallen Dalhart firefighters, Chief Curtis Brown and Brendan Torres. Phillip & Tawana Zeller of Holy Smokes BBQ traveled to Dalhart to help raise money for the two affected families. Nearly 300 pounds of meat was sold in about seven hours.

Prairie/Legacy News — JoAnn Davenport is the Prairie Acres Resident of the Month for October. The Employee of the Month for October is Dakota Prather who is a hospitality aide and has been on staff since March.
