Linda Kay Carson Chapman

A service to celebrate the life of Linda Carson Chapman was held at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 27, 2023, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers, followed by a reception. She died on Thursday, February 23, 2023. Please visit www.memorialdesigners.net to view a recording of the service.

On December 19th 1950, Linda Kay Carson entered the world and the family of David and Frank Carson. That world and family would be brightened, heightened, maybe frightened (only if you rode with her) and lightened up by her joyful, spontaneous, mischievous, determined, artistic, giving, and funny persona. She was truly a favorite of everyone she knew and a huge success as a teacher, artist, realtor, and friend. Her brothers, nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews were a source of incredible joy and pride for her.

She loved Rick, her friend, companion, and partner in life…and her next best companion and friend was her dog Bogey (along with all her pets who had come before).

Linda was a lover of people and a giver. She made her friends and real estate clients feel like the most important people in her world.

Our lives were blessed and enriched by her love, generosity, and great spirit of joy and fun. She is loved by many and will leave a void in our hearts and lives…but the thought of her spreading that joy and fun in Heaven just leaves us all smiling and thankful for her and Jesus.

Linda is survived by the love of her life, Rick Jennings; brothers, David L. (Carolyn) Carson, and John (Lisa) Carson; nieces and nephews, Lindsey (Jase) Irwin, Jennifer (Stephen) Ogle, Wade (Kim) Carson, Jay (Jenny) Carson, Terry (Dean) Malone, Garrett (Wes Condray) Wright, Jordan (Alisha) Wright, Kayla (Hayden) Patton, and Brock (Emily) Carson, and twenty-two great-nieces and nephews.

Thank you to Comfort Keepers and especially her caregiver, Brenda Smyrl for the care, love, and special relationship they shared.

Linda's family suggests memorial donations to the Buckner Children's Home at https://www.buckner.org. Thanks A Million
