Ana Maria Flores, 84 of Bovina passed away September 1, 2025 in Bovina. Viewing will be held from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, September 3, 2025 in the Ron Smiley Memorial Chapel of the funeral home and Thursday, September 4, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM with Rosary Services at 6:00 PM at St. Ann’s Catholic Church of Bovina. Mass of Christian Burial Services have been set for 11:00 AM Friday, September 5, 2025 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Bovina with Father Nick Gerber as Celebrant. Burial following in the Bovina Cemetery entrusted to HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.
Ana was born May 25, 1941 in Guadalupe, Chihuahua, Mexico to Jose and Carmela Valencia Gonzalez. She later married Antonio Flores on May 27, 1968. Her biggest love and joy in life was her family. She was a great wife, mom and grandmother. She imparted many wonderful skills and beliefs to her family including children, grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. She was a very good-hearted person that overcame many obstacles.
Ana is preceded in death by her parents Jose and Carmela Gonzalez, 1 son-Tony Flores, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
Those to mourn her passing include her husband- Antonio Flores of Bovina, 1 son-Rudy Flores and wife Christina of Lubbock, and 1 daughter-Josie E. Flores of Bovina, 9 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
