Edward O'Brian

Edward O’Brian passed from this life on Friday, April 19, 2013. Family and friends gathered Monday April 22, 2013 at Fellowship Church of Lubbock to celebrate his life of 41 years. A tribute of Edward can be found at www.memorialdesigners.net where you may also leave memories and expression of sympathy for his family.

Edward Ross O’Brian was born on December 10, 1971 in Dimmitt, Texas to Roy and Paula O’Brian. He graduated from Friona High School in 1990 and earned a Bachelor’s degree from Wayland Baptist University in 1999. He was employed as a structural engineer until his illness prevented him from working. He was a member of the Fellowship Church of Lubbock.

Survivors include Brandee, his wife of 11-years; their children Rabekah and Alexys O’Brian; parents Roy and Paula O’Brian; sisters Celia Mason and husband Ray and Sheila Higgins and husband Daniel; four nephews, one niece and one great niece.

Drew "Elmo" Baize

Drew “Elmo” Baize passed from this life on Saturday, April 20, 2013. We will gather for fellowship and remembrance from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers in Lubbock. A service to celebrate his life of 36 years will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2013 at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers.

Graveside services will follow at 5 p.m. at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Amarillo, Texas. A tribute to Drew may be found at www.memorialdesigners.net, where you may leave memories and expression of sympathy for his family.

Drew was born on January 7, 1977 in Amarillo, Texas to Robin Baize and Myrna Hill. Drew loved the outdoors playing various sports such as baseball and golf. He was an avid New York Giants football fan. Drew and Kellie developed a close relationship, shared a life together with Carver and friends. Kellie and Carver were the most special people in his life.

Early on Drew enjoyed countless hours farming and ranching with grandparents, aunts and uncles. Drew was working toward becoming a certified heating and air conditioning specialist. He had such a kind heart and would do anything for anyone.

Survivors include his mother, Myrna Hill and husband Kelly; father Robin Baize and wife Jennifer; best friend Kellie Schooler and her son Carver; two brothers, Morgan Baize and wife Autumn and their children Kylee and Cooper, and Logan Baize and his son Brylee; two step-brothers, Andrew Diaz and Miles Hill; a step-sister Mallory Hill; maternal grandparents E.G. and Betty Phipps; paternal grandparents Jean Baize and Dwayne Hill and wife Jenelle; and Kellie’s mother Sandra Schooler.

Drew is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Duane Baize. Donations are welcome and the family suggests PREP Program, 9100 South Georgia, Amarillo, Texas 79118.
