Shingle dumping fee is set
With the many damaged roofs in Friona destined to be replaced, roofers will have to make arrangements for disposing of the old shingles. There is no disposal site provided by the City of Friona.
The County roll off box located on FM2397 west of the overpass, will be open seven days a week to accept shingles. Precinct 1 County Commissioner Kirk Frye said the rate for dumping shingles will be $90 per ton. Cash, check, or money orders only. No credit cards.
