Help Buttercup raise $$ for ambulance fund
The Action for an Ambulance Fund committee are selling 100 chances to win $400 during the 12th Annual Cheeseburger Festival on Saturday, July 15. Every square is a potential winner.
The rules are easy:
*Squares (2’ X 2’) are chosen on a first come, first served basis and can be purchased in advance at the Friona Chamber Office, 621 Main Street.
*You do not have to be present to win. When purchasing a chance give your contact name and phone number.
*If the cow deposits on/over a line, the winner is decided by the judges. In the event that portions are too close to determine a winner, the prize money will be divided equally between the square holders. All judges decisions are final.
*No squares will be sold after 2:30 p.m. on July 15. The cow will be released at 11 a.m. and allowed to roam until the cow patty drops or 3 p.m.
*If by 3 p.m. a cow patty has not dropped, the winner will be determined by whatever square the front right leg of the cow is in at that time.
