Friona Kids Building Camp is approaching July 24th -27th for ages 5-12. You can pre-register at the Friona Chamber of Commerce or register July 23rd @5:00 p.m. & July 24th @3:00 p.m. in the Boy Scout Hut. The camp is free of charge and welcomes you to join!

Friona City Pool is now open for the summer. Tuesday-Saturday 1-5 p.m. Ages 3-11 is $3. Ages 12 & up is $4. The pool is also available to book parties for $100 from 5-7 p.m.

The High School gym is open for use in the summer. The gym is open Monday-Thursday from 7:30 a.m.- 9:00 a.m. in the mornings and 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. in the afternoon for the month of June. Coaches encourage athletes to stay active during summer break.

History is always a huge part of our lives and it always will be. There is no better way to get a taste of history than getting to see it yourself. The Friona Museum is up and running for business with a working AC system so feel free to go and visit! Lights, Camera, Action! Summer Drama is approaching July 9-21. Directors this year are Allison Johnston, Joy Morton, and Erika Montana. Tuition is $50 per child for the entire 2 weeks. Summer Drama Workshop is open to students who have completed K- completed 12th grade. You do not have to pre-register. Forms will be provided the first day of rehearsal. As always, they are asking community leaders and businesses to participate by donation in order to keep the tuition from going up. This is the 49th year of productions! That is pretty impressive.
