Summer Drama kicks off next week

The 50th Season of Summer Drama Workshop is about to begin! High school kids will start rehearsal on Scappino on Sunday, July 7, at 7:00 pm under the direction of Erika Montana. The junior high kids will begin rehearsal on Law and Order: Fairy Tale Unit- Episode 2 on July 8 at 1:30 pm under the direction of Joy Morton. The elementary kids will begin rehearsal on The Adventures of a Comic Book Artist on July 8 at 9:00 am under the direction of Allison Johnston. The cost for the 2 week camp is still only $25.00 per person. We cannot wait to see you all next week!! It is going to be the best one yet!! Commissioners approve bonds for new employees

The Parmer County Commissioners Court met in regular session on Thursday, June 27th at 10:00 a.m. in the County Courtroom of the Parmer County Courthouse in Farwell, Texas. The meeting began with prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance to the American Flag and the Texas Flag.

The meeting was rescheduled to Thursday to allow for the attendance of funeral services on Monday of Parmer County employee Chad Jennings, who worked for Precinct 4 Commissioner Casey Russell. (more...)
