Graveside services for Jason Vaughn, 50 of Allen, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Friona Cemetery with Pastor Randa Reeves of the Union Congregational Church officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Parkside Chapel Funeral Directors of Hereford. Mr. Vaughn passed away February 24, 2021 in Allen.
Jason Lee Vaughn was born August 8, 1970 in Friona, Texas. He attended school in Friona, and graduated Friona High School in 1988. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Gulf War. He met the love of his life Midori and he and Midori married in January 1994, in Ssaebo, Japan.
The legacy he leaves are his wife, Midori, of Allen; one son Duran, of Allen; his parents Glenn and Carolin Reeve, of Friona; three sisters Denette Vaughn, Glenda Richards, and Janna Preston, all of Lubbock; three nieces Valerie Lopez, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Allison Fluck of Rockwall, Texas; and Melissa Francis of Lubbock; one Nephew Cody Ruth, of Lubbock, and six great-nephews and one great-niece.
The family suggest that memorials in Mr. Vaughn's name be made to a Charity of choice.
