Matilde Fernandez

Matilde Fernandez, 76 of Bovina passed away March 28, 2021 in Bovina. Viewing was held from 9:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 30, 2021 with Rosary Services set for 6:00 P.M. in the Ron Smiley Memorial Chapel of HANSARD FAMILY with Mass of Christian Burial Services scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Bovina with Father Gregory Bunyan as Celebrant. Burial following in the Bovina Cemetery by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.

Matilde was born June 24, 1944 in Cuencame Oriente Durango, Mexico to Anacleto and Agustina Salas Fernandez. She later married Jesus Sanchez Lopez April 16, 1961 in Mexico.

She moved from Mexico to Bovina in 2007 to help take care of her grandchildren after the death of their mother. She loved helping her family and others, and was an active member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Bovina. Matilde loved her morning coffee, and tending to her goats.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers-Francisco, Jesus, Eduviges, and Ubaldo, 5 sisters-Altagracia, Maria, Juventina, Lidia, and Carmen.

Those to carry on her legacy include 2 daughters-Maria Elizabeth Rojas and family of Bovina, and Genoveva Sanchez and family of Clovis, 6 sons-Jesus Sanchez and family of Clovis, Rafael Sanchez and family of Bovina, Fernando Sanchez and family of California, Alfredo Sanchez and family of Bovina, Martin Sanchez and family of Durango, Mexico, and Eddy Armando Sanchez and family of Clovis.

Memorials may be given to Matilde's favorite charity St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN. 38105

Darrin Gray "Bo" Ivey

Darrin Gray Ivey "Bo" of Sterling City Texas, received his angel wings at the age of 35 on March 21, 2021 while surrounded by family and friends.

Bo graduated from Columbus High School in 2003 and went on to complete an engineering degree from Texas Tech University. Bo built a loving home and successful family business.

Bo married his best friend Morgan Anthony on May 31, 2014 in Lubbock TX.

Bo is survived by his beautiful wife Morgan, children Ryanne and little Tate, mother Donna Yates, father Todd Noletubby, step father Jay Calvin, brother Colton Ivey and wife Rachel, sister Tara Noletubby, nephews Conner and Brody, and niece Layla, grandfather Mike Foster and wife Jakie, aunts, uncles, and many crazy cousins. He is also survived by his father-in-law and mother-in-law Dennis and Loraine Anthony and sisters-in-law Adrienne Anthony, Erin Busch and husband Steffan, and Regan Anthony.

Bo strived to succeed and always placed priority on family first. His reputation as a great friend is known by many. He was always the life of any gathering and never failed to provide us with many hilarious memories. He will survive in our hearts until we meet again.

Visitation was held at Ross Funeral Home in Sterling City, Texas, March 23, 2021 from 5-7 pm. Funeral service was held at First United Methodist Church in Sterling City on March 24, 2021 at 10 am. His vessel will be laid to rest beside his favorite and just as crazy Memaw "Phyllis Foster" at the Foster cemetery in Sterling City, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, Bo ask that you refrain from voting Democrat in the next election.

Donny Ray Campbell

Donny Ray Campbell, 67 of Amarillo, formerly of Friona passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021 in Amarillo. Celebration of Life Chapel Services are set for 10:00 A.M. Saturday, April 3, 2021 in the Friona Cemetery Memorial Chapel with Rev. Brett Hoyle officiating. Burial will follow in the Friona Cemetery by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.

Donny was born February 13, 1954 to Ray and Vernell Campbell in Friona. He graduated from Friona High School in 1972. He was on the Friona Volunteer Fire Department, the Friona Police Department, and was an electrician at Campbell Electric. He later moved to Borger Texas as a police officer. Donny later retired from the police department and started his own electrical contracting business in Borger.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother-in-law David Bruce Harper, niece Sarah Campbell, and nephew Dustin Campbell.

Donny is survived by his wife Lucinda "Lucy" Campbell of Amarillo, 1 son- Michael Campbell and wife Elizabeth of Amherst, 1 daughter- Rebecca Weede and husband Matt of Florida, 1 brother- Danny Campbell and wife Holly of Friona, 1 sister- Donna Harper of Amarillo, 5 grandchildren, 1 niece and 2 nephews.
