Silvia Trevino, 60 of Friona passed into the loving arms of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on October 24, 2026 in Friona. Celebration of Life Services have been scheduled for 4:00 PM Thursday, October 29, 2026 at Ministerio Conexiones Divinas Church of Friona with Pastor Juan Heriberto Guzman Adames, officiating. Arrangements and cremation entrusted to HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.
Silvia was born on May 19, 1966, in Chihuahua, Mexico, to Prudencio and Ofelia Venzor. She was the eldest of five siblings, who looked up to her throughout their lives. She was devoted to helping her many family members, friends, coworkers, and fellow Christians. She also reached out to help strangers whenever she had the opportunity.
Silvia was also an ordained pastor, serving the congregation of Ministerio Conexiones Divinas Church alongside two other co-pastors.
Silvia cherished her family, and they cherished her as well. Her grandchildren lovingly called her “Mima.” She shared 20 years of marriage with her husband, Johnny Trevino, and was blessed with five daughters, who were the joy of her life and whom she loved deeply.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Faustino and Casiana Venzor and Santiago and Rosario Estrada; her mother, Ofelia Venzor; her sister, Clara Venzor; and her nephew, Victor Dominguez.
Silvia is survived by her father, Prudencio Venzor; her husband, Johnny Trevino; her children, Brisa (Jeremiah) Grace, Karla (Jerry) Gillett, Mayra Garcia, Cindy (Fernando) Moreno, and Karina (Josue) Ojeda; and her siblings, Veronica (Leo) Carbajal, German (Gema) Venzor, and Eric (Reyna) Venzor. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Silvia will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
