When Patriots defensive back Malcolm Butler made the game saving interception in the Super Bowl, he also saved each of his teammates $48,000. The winners got $97,000 and the losers $49,000. Lots of money swirls around the Super Bowl. Some folks spend the weekend in Las Vegas where you can bet on every detail of the game, including how long it takes to sing the national anthem. Tickets were expensive. Saw some people that thought they bought a weekend package that included tickets but found out when they got there they had no tickets. Seems that happens every year. It is a big money event and I did my part. I took the Patriots and won one dollar from a friend in Hereford.
