A new playground has been installed at Reeve Lake behind Fast Stop. Funding for the project was a joint effort between the City of Friona, the Friona Economic Development Corporation, and several local businesses that donated to the Amarillo Area Foundation. A pavilion will be added later and a Texas Parks & Wildlife grant will be sought for walking trails. Businesses contributing to this project are listed on page two.
