Town Talk II

by Ron Carr

The only good thing about the weekend icy weather was it gave us some more moisture. I canceled my trip down to Denton and stayed in the house all day Friday and Saturday. Finally ventured out Sunday about noon. Will try the trip to Denton again during the Christmas holidays. Hope you all had a feast of a Thanksgiving even though the weather messed up many planned celebrations.

Is Black Friday still the Friday after Thanksgiving? I don't think so. Black Friday sales and promotions started before Thanksgiving. They say shopping in a store on Black Friday has given away to online shopping on Cyber Monday. Seems to me it has become a mess.
