Town Talk II

If you keep a calendar of such things, the Dimmitt city-wide garage sale is June 6. I think this is one of the more popular garage sales in the area. I've been a couple of times years ago when I took my mother and her friend Martha over there. We worked it by the block. I was the designated driver. Would drop them off then drive to the end of the block and wait for them to make their way crisscrossing the street. I would walk back, carry a load of stuff to the vehicle, and repeat again. It was a long fun day watching the ladies work.
