WE’RE BACK…The Friona Farmers Co-op Gin is back in the business of ginning cotton. To date they have ginned 4,332 bales and have 190 modules on the yard waiting to be ginned. They are weighing in approximately 50 module trucks a day with 125 modules still in the field and they are still stripping. The first module was picked up about a month ago in Portales. They are picking up modules from surrounding areas including Portales in New Mexico and Easter, south of Hereford.

December is here and so is cold weather. Better bundle up Monday for Christmas in the Park when Santa will arrive about 5:30 p.m. There will be booths with snacks and hot chocolate and a Christmas light parade about dark. Bring a canned good to vote for your favorite tree.
