Bertha Mae “Mutt” Dutton

Bertha Mae “Mutt” Dutton, 100 of Clovis, New Mexico, formerly of Friona passed away July 26, 2018 in Farwell. Celebration of Life Services will be held 10:00 A.M. MDT, Saturday, July 28, 2018 at the Prince Street Baptist Church in Clovis, N.M. with Pastor Tommy Hohstadt, officiating. Graveside Service and Burial will be held 3:00 P.M. CDT Saturday, July 28, 2018 at the Friona Cemetery in Friona, Texas by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.

Mutt was born March 14, 1918 in Myra, Texas to David Arthur and Laverta Booher Williams. She married Floyd Dutton November 14, 1936 in Olton, Texas.

She loved to embroidery quilt tops, play Skip-Bo and 42, dance, and spend time with her family and church, Prince Street Baptist where she was a member.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 11 brothers and sisters.

Those to carry on her legacy include 1 daughter Wynell Radford of Buffalo, Oklahoma, 2 sons-Joe Mack Dutton of Clovis, and Billy Dean Dutton of Colbert, Oklahoma, 1 sister-Lucille Huddleston of Myra, Texas, 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Earl Dee Young

Graveside Services for Earl Dee Young, 83, of Friona, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Parklawn Memorial Garden in Plainview with Trey Southern officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview. Mr. Young passed from this life on July 30, 2018 in Friona.

Earl Dee was born on May 15, 1935 to T.Y. and Pearl (House) Young. He was involved in farming and agriculture until he retired. He attended church at Faith Christian Family Church in Clovis, NM.

Earl was a musician. His hobby and passion was playing his guitar and singing for hours. He loved his family and friends.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children: Johnny Bob Young and wife Tammy of Balko, OK., Coleman Young and wife Melissa of Lazbuddie, Merrie Young of Boothwyn, PA., and Sandra Aven and husband Brett of Plainview, his grandchildren; Celenda Aulds, Tiffany Young, Holli Randolph, Jennifer Williams, Lacie Duffield, Matthew Young, Benjamin Young, Rena Southern, Tamera Anderson, Tara Turberg and Chancellor Aven; eight great-grandchildren, his twin brother; Mearl D. Young, brother; Billy Tom Young, and his sister Audrey Mahagan.

He is preceded in death by his parents, T.Y. and Pearl Young, and seven siblings; Francis Ready, Edgar Young, Carlton Young, G.W. Young, Melvin and Elvin Young, and Margie Pool.
