Town Talk II

There is a U.S. Senator from Rhode Island named Sheldon Whitehouse. He is a Democrat. Appropriate name for a Washington politician I reckon.

Early deadline next week

The Friona Star will be printed one day early next week due to the Thanksgiving holiday. We will print and distribute the paper on Wednesday instead of Thursday. That means it will be on newsstands and in PO Boxes on Wednesday. Those who receive the paper at home and on the county routes will still get it delivered on Friday as usual. Deadline for articles and/or ads for next week's Star will be 5:00 p.m. Monday instead of Tuesday. The Star office will be open Monday and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
