Littlefield blanks Chiefs 49-0

It was a tough night for the Chieftains in Littlefield. The Wildcats racked up 380 rushing yards, 76 passing yards, and seven touchdowns as they dominated on offense and defense.

The Chiefs were held to 131 offensive yards and four first downs. Gabriel Chico closed in on 1,000 yards rushing this year on 15 carries for 57 yards. Cris Alvarez carried 7 times for 26 yards and completed 3 of 11 passes for 39 yards and had one interception.

Luis Trejo managed only 6 yards on 2 carries, Marco Maldonado had 2 carries for 3 yards, and Mason Mireles caught one pass for 24 yards. Mireles also led the defense with 9 tackles.

The Chieftains end their season Friday November 6 at home vs. Childress. Kickoff is sat 7:30 p.m.
