Town Talk II

by Ron Carr

Official weather guy John Gurley reports that Friona received a total 1.35" of rain Saturday and Sunday evenings, .90" Saturday and .45" Sunday night. Altogether, year-to-date, Friona has received 21.78". The rain and wind drove the Youth Dayz events inside. Saturday night the burgers and fries were served and musical equipment set-up on the football field but about 7:30 p.m. the rain came and the event moved into the high school gym. Sunday night's activities were supposed to be at the football field but were moved to the junior high auditorium.
