We send our condolences to John Gurley and family for the loss of his father, Lee B. Alexander, who passed last week. Lee and his wife Thelma had lived in Heritage Estates and Prairie Acres here in Friona over the past several years. John and his family would like to thank the Friona community for its support and prayers.

The Friona Vocational Agriculture Association is raffling off four quarters of beef on February 15 at noon. Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased from Greg O’Brian, Tracy Bunker, Kody Kimbrough, Clint Hurst, Bill White or at Friona Wheat Growers. They will also be taking donations to support the Friona FFA and Friona 4-H program.
