Frank Earl Vance

Frank Earl Vance, 64 of Amarillo passed away Friday, October 19, 2018 in Amarillo. Celebration of Life Services were held 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 22, 2018 at the Friona Cemetery Memorial Chapel with Mitchell Wiseman, officiating. Burial following in the Friona Cemetery by Hansard Family Funeral Home of Friona.

Frank was born June 13, 1954 in Winters, Texas to Jack Earl and Betty Mae Young Vance.

Frank loved shoestrings, sunshine and music. He truly was a joyful soul.

He is preceded in death by his parents and by a sister-Donna Lee Walter.

Those who love Frank include 3 sisters-Jacquelyn Buchanan and husband Chief, Johnnie Wiseman and husband Mitchell, all of Friona, Jerri Landrum and husband Brian of Benbrook, 1 brother Kenneth Walter and wife Margaret of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and his special family at Advo Companies, Inc. in Amarillo.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials to Advo Companies Inc. 5241 S. Washington St. Amarillo, TX 79110.

Ramiro Villarreal Castaneda

Ramiro Villarreal Castaneda, 66 of Ballinger, formerly of Friona passed away October 18, 2018 in Ballinger. Viewing was held from 1:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Hansard Family Funeral Home in Friona with viewing Monday, October 22, 2018 9:30 A.M to 8:00 P.M. at Temple of Adoration Church in Friona. Celebration of Life Services were held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Temple of Adoration Church in Friona with Pastor Roy Dominguez, officiating. Burial following in the Friona Cemetery by Hansard Family Funeral Home of Friona.

Ramiro was born September 27, 1952 in Mexico to Emilio and Leonarda Villarreal Castaneda.

He was a very accomplished welder and loved to build and create. He was an avid fisherman that loved animals and camping. He was known to be a caring and loving man with a big heart.

He is preceded in death by 1 brother-Rolando Castaneda and 1 sister-Maricela Castaneda.

Those to carry on his legacy include: his father- Emilio Castaneda of Muleshoe, mother-Leonarda Castaneda of Ballinger, 2 daughters-Laura Duran of Lubbock, and Imelda Castaneda Ortiz of Amarillo, 2 brothers-Emilio Castaneda of Bangs, Pete Castaneda of Amarillo, 5 sisters-Yolanda Lugo and Hilda Salcido of Amarillo, Elva Larrea of Bovina, Araceli Capricciuolo of Arlington and Sonia Flores of San Angelo, 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
