St. Teresa's Jamaica will sell brisket plate lunch

St. Teresa’s annual Jamaica will be Sunday August 7 at the parish hall area. This year they will serve a brisket plate inside which includes brisket, potato salad, coleslaw, beans, tea, and cake for $10. Plates to go will be available.

All concessions at the Jamaica are paid with tickets which are $1.00 each and will be available at the jamaica bank.

Outdoor booths will feature a variety of foods including gorditas, tripas, brisket burritos, hamburgers, carnitas, funnel cakes, snow cones, and more.

Mercedes Williams said, “Since it is so hot this time of year we would like people to know that inside our parish hall half of the area will be available for people to sit and eat. The other half of the building will be for Bingo. There will also be children’s activities such as a dunking booth and other carnival style games.”

There will also be live music. Everyone in the community is invited.
