County farmers, blizzard volunteers asked to submit names, hours spent

Parmer County Emergency Coordinator John Gurley is requesting any area farmers and other volunteers that worked during the recent blizzard to submit names, equipment, and hours worked to assist the county in receiving funds from FEMA.

"During the blizzard the county and cities in the county received a great deal of much appreciated help either digging people out or clearing roads," Gurley said. "If you helped please contact me with names and hours spent along with personal equipment used."

This info will assist the county's effort to receive any financial benefit from FEMA. Contact Gurley at 265-7432 or gurleyfarms@gmail.com. You can also contact County Judge Trey Ellis at 806-481-3383.
